PITLOCHRY WEATHER----SEPTEMBER 2013
The month was dry, with temperatures close to normal.
Rainfall was 42.8mms (53%), with the 6th & 19th
having the only significant totals in the month.
Following a very dry August & June, the ground was
often dry, with plants thirsty.
Temperature-wise, the mean maximum was just 0.3
above normal, the mean minimum 0.3 below.
Two nights came close to an air frost (0.5 on 16 & 26)
with a slight ground frost on 4 nights.
Overall, a reasonable month, with a few days quite
summery, 4 exceeding 19 degrees, with the highest
reaching 23.0 on the 3rd. NO RECORDS BROKEN.
