After some bright intervals this morning, the afternoon will become generally cloudy, with a spell of 3 or 4 hour's rain within the mid-afternoon/ early evening period. Winds will be SE3 for much of the day, becoming more from the W following the rain. Best temperatures around 9 or 10. Mainly dry with clear spells tonight, but frost unlikely.

THURSDAY--Despite some dry, bright interludes, the day will be prone to some cloudy, showery, blustery spells, with temperatures held around 9 & winds up to force 4 at times.

FRIDAY--Promises better, with a few showers probable during the morning, but dry, brighter weather for the afternoon. Rather windy. The overnight period may see temperatures down into low single figures.
