Another good Oct. max. temp for Pitlochry yesterday (17.7 ).  Strathallan & Kinloss reached 19.4.

LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY----Significantly colder, with fresh to strong NW winds importing air from more northerly latitudes.  Wednesday will see sunny intervals, but also some more cloudy spells with a few showers. Thursday should be drier with more in the way of sunshine.  Overnight, temperatures will fall to low single figures, with the more prone spots getting a ground frost the first night & possibly an air frost on the second.
