A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.   There were only 30mms of rain up until the 16th. Now, the total has shot up to over 103mms. Nearly a ground frost with me this morning. Some very attractive high level cloud on what looks a delightful start to Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY-----Neither day as good as Tuesday, as the weather again begins to be influenced by Atlantic fronts. Wednesday is likely to see a spell of rain, while Thursday looks like being more generally cloudy with rain at times throughout. Winds will be from the SW for much of the time, in a range force 3 to 5, with best temperatures around 8 or 9 degrees.
