A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.     Leuchars reached close to 16 yesterday, but Strathallan had nearly 25mms of rain. Pitlochry turned out wetter than expected p.m.

TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
Quite a lot of rain to the west & moving east. However, radar evidence shows that this is fragmenting, so perhaps only a few showery outbreaks reaching Pitlochry & by afternoon, some spells of more broken cloud & some sunny intervals being the order of the day. It will, however, become rather windy from the west (about force 4 or 5). Maximum temperatures about 12. Mostly dry overnight & somewhat cooler than recent nights.

FRIDAY---Going downhill once more, as cloud, rain & a freshening SE wind move into the area.
