LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----THURS 28th JUNE to SUN 1st JULY
High pressure over Europe(responsible for the current fine weather at Wimbledon), will weaken over the period. Low pressure to the SW will move closer to Scotland, with some fronts affecting our area.. Thursday will see overcast skies & some further rain, perhaps some being heavy.Friday & Saturday are likely to be partly cloudy, with sunny intervals but also some showers. Sunday looks like being the better day of the weekend, with fewer showers around & a better chance of some sunny intervals. The whole period is likely to be cooler than normal, with best temperatures stuck in a range 15 to 18. Winds turning into the west by the weekend.
