LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK---FRI.8th to MON.11th JUNE
The situation is a very unsettled one, with some parts of Britain getting much stronger winds & far more rain than Pitlochry over the next day or two, as a deep depression moves from the S.Irish Sea, across N. England & into the North Sea.
After some limited sunshine this morning, it is likely to remain mainly cloudy until Monday. In between, there are likely to be some spells of rain, though some of this may only be light.. Daytime temperatures should be in a range 14 to 16, so just a little below the average. No frost is expected. Winds will generally have an E. component, as low pressure passes to the S. of our area, generally around force 2 or 3, but stronger over Thursday night.
