A mainly dry, bright day with some intervals of sunshine, especially this morning, but rather more cloudy this afternoon.Feeling warm in any sunny intervals, though cool under cloud & in the shadows. Highest temperature around 14 or 15 degrees. Winds force 3 from S or SE. TONIGHT will become cloudy, with rain spreading from the S. by the wee small hours. Less cool than of late, with a minimum of 8 or 9.

LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----WED.6th to SAT.9th JUNE
Low pressure will become the dominating feature, with a deep depression moving from the SW Approaches into the North Sea during Thursday & Friday. Each day in the period will see a high risk of showers or longer spells of rain & just a few unreliable drier spells with limited sunny intervals. Winds will be mainly moderate from between E & S between Wednesday & Friday, though more westerly on Saturday, with fresher breezes.Throughout, daytime temperatures will be in a rather cool range of 12 to 15. Frost is not expected.
