LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----3rd to 6th JUNE
A ridge of high pressure will cover Scotland for the next couple of days, while low pressure takes up residence over S.England, spoiling Jubilee Celebrations in that area. By Wednesday, pressure will also have fallen over Scotland.  During the period outlined, much of the time should be dry, with some intervals of sunshine, but there will also be more cloudy periods with a little rain or showers around, especially p.m. on Sunday, p.m. on Tuesday & more generally on Wednesday, though overall amounts mainly small.  It will be cool throughout, with highest daily temperatures only in the range 11 to 14. Frost is unlikely, save for localised ground frost by dawn Monday. Winds mostly light to moderate & variable in direction.
