LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK---SATURDAY 2nd to TUESDAY 5th JUNE
A reasonable amount of dry weather during this period, as high pressure to the N. extends a ridge over Scotland, which will see the driest weather in the U.K.
Each day in the period should see some dry, bright weather with sunshine at times, as well as some more cloudy patches, perhaps Saturday being the best of the bunch. However, winds will mostly be from between N & E, ensuring daytime temperatures around 3 or 4 degrees below the June "norm". Any rain should be light & patchy, adding up to very little, with Tuesday perhaps seeing the most, as the ridge over Scotland begins to be eroded. No frost is expected, save for the odd ground frost in vulnerable locations.   MAY SUMMARY TO FOLLOW.
