LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK-----THUR. 14th to SUN.17th
A weak ridge of high pressure from the N. will hold on 'till Friday, when a NE-moving low will cross Britain, giving a rather unsettled weekend. Following a mostly dry but rather cloudy Thursday, the Friday to Sunday period will be less settled, as rain extends from the S. The E to NE winds will freshen to force 4 or 5. The weekend should be drier than Friday, but still rather cloudy, cool & breezy from the NE. Daytime temperatures will be pegged back in the 10 to 12 degree range (that's around 5 or 6 degrees down on normal). So nothing good on the horizon at present; make the best of the sunny intervals today & tomorrow!
