This period promises to be unsettled, as an area of low pressure spends several days close to & affecting all of Britain. Thursday may start bright, but will go pear-shaped later, as an area of rain spreads up from the south. A wet night is in prospect, with higher rainfall totals than we have seen for some time.Winds will become fresh from the E. During Friday & the weekend, the emphasis will be on cloud & showers or even longer spells of rain, though also a few sunny intervals. It will be cooler by day at around 12 to 15.
