Much of this period will see broken cloud, some intervals of sunshine, but also some more cloudy spells with a risk of showers.Overall, rainfall amounts are likely to be small. Winds will start from the W, but through the period, gradually turn more into the N. mostly between force 2 & 4. Daytime temperatures will reach in a range 15 to 18, near or slightly below average &. no frost seems likely.
Parts of N.England, N.Ireland & SW Scotland have seen a very wet period, with the worst-affected places receiving over 100mms. Our area, due to get at least some of this, received nothing during Friday & our June total remains well-below the normal.
SATURDAY is expected to see some good dry spells this morning, though there is likely to be more cloud & one or two showers around this afternoon. Highest temperature 17, with force 3 or 4 SW winds.
