LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK

FRIDAY & THE WEEKEND----Looking quite promising, with little or no rain expected, though generally remaining rather cloudy. Some brightness & a few sunny intervals are expected, though longer periods with clear skies & prolonged sunshine seem unlikely at the present time.
On the plus side, it is likely to become somewhat warmer, especially by Sunday, when temperatures may reach the higher teens. Winds will generally only be force 2 or 3.
