LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK

MONDAY & TUESDAY

Very much a case of "stay put " or go east. Those who head west, especially north-west, are likely to find cloud & persistent rain, especially in the more mountainous parts.
Pitlochry should stay dry until late on Wednesday, with some intervals of sunshine & feeling warm for September. Winds should moderate somewhat, staying in the S.W.

A brief summer summary appears below!  Was this one really superb or was it that the last few were so poor?
