LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK

THURSDAY may start cloudy, with perhaps a little rain left over from overnight. It should soon brighten up, with spells of sunshine, It will, however, feel cooler & fresher, with winds having turned more towards NW. Maximum temperatures only around 15 or 16 degrees ( nearer to the September normal.)

FRIDAY may start dry & bright, but there is a threat of rain later, as low pressure takes over & a front introduces rain, which may be heavy, moving in from the SE, with winds having turned into the NE.  It is likely to feel cool.

WEEKEND prospects are not too encouraging at this stage.
