It looks like Thursday evening & parts of Sunday will be the wettest times. Winds will stay fairly light until Sunday when a deep depression will stir things up somewhat.

Dry today until later this afternoon. Cloud will be broken, with some intervals of sunshine, before an increase in cloud before the rain arrives. Much of the rain should be light, though there is likely to be a heavier band for an hour or so. By mid to late evening, things should start to dry out, leading to a dry, cool night with some clear spells. Temperatures should reach 16 or 17 during the afternoon, with light winds from SW to NW.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY should be mostly dry, partly cloudy but with some sunny intervals. It is likely to feel rather cool, with 12 to 14 at best. Winds W to NW force 2 or 3.  SUNDAY will become windy, with some rain, as a deep depression crosses Scotland.
