LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK---MONDAY to THURSDAY
Low pressure near Iceland, with fronts circulating around, will dominate the weather scene next week. In fact, later in the week, the low pressure will get nearer to Scotland & this may lead to stronger winds & rather larger rainfall amounts. So from Monday, it will start to feel rather more autumnal, as daytime temperatures take a dip & conditions become rather unsettled with rain or showers featuring in the forecasts on most days.Winds will be mostly from the W.force 3 or4, occasionally force 5 or 6, with maximum temperatures in the range 13 to 16. Nights should still be on the mild side.
