Following early cloud & drizzle, there should be a marked improvement during the morning, with much of the day seeing broken cloud & some sunshine. Though rather breezy from the S.W. it should become mild by this afternoon, perhaps touching 16. There could just be an odd shower TONIGHT, but much of the time should be dry, with temp. in high single figures.

LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK----MONDAY to THURSDAY
Pressure remains low around Iceland & high to the W. of Iberia. Scotland is in a changeable SWor W. airstream, with occasional fronts passing across.   MONDAY will see some dry, sunny spells, but with a risk of p.m. showers. Rather breezy from the S.W.   TUESDAY threatens to be rather cloudy, showery & breezy. WED. & THURS should see  fewer showers & more cloud breaks & sunny spells, with winds more round to the W.     All week should see daytime temps. near normal at 11/12, while nights bottom out at around 4 to 6, so frost-free.
