A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.

Another significant fissure where the Eurasian & North American plates have pulled apart in Iceland, ( around 40kms E. of Reykjavik). This plate movement is ceaseless, with the landscape ever-changing. Icelanders know that continuous small movements usually ensure that pressure is released & major earthquakes are much less frequent.
