LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK---THURSDAY to SUNDAY
High pressure will become established over Southern Britain, while Scotland is still vulnerable to frontal systems, especially on Thursday, with cloudy skies & some light p.m. rain on the cards. The following 3 days should be mainly dry & though rather cloudy, some sunny intervals are likely, with Saturday possibly the best day. Temperatures should generally be a little above normal, both by day & night. Winds will blow mainly from the SW, strongest later on Thursday.
