The Icelandic low pressure is still dominating the circulation over Britain & lively winds are to be expected for the next few days. High pressure should be settled over Southern Britain for the weekend. Thursday is likely to be the day with most cloud & the greatest likelihood of some rain, if mainly light. Thereafter, it should be mainly dry, with a reasonable weekend, with some sunshine & a little warmer.Winds throughout will be from a W. quarter, often up to at least force 4, especially on Thursday. Overall rainfall amounts should be small, with higher overnight temperatures.
