Later in the afternoon, cloud will tend to increase, as a belt of showery rain moves into the area from the N. Later in the evening, it should become dry with clear spells & later turning frosty.

YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRYThere was a good deal of dry weather here, despite the unsettled conditions in many places. .Although cool & windy, Pitlochry avoided most of the rain.
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
Pressure is high over Mid-Atlantic, but still low over the northern part of the North Sea. The situation is actually far from settled overall, with Sunday's chart again featuring a deep low in the SW approaches.
TOMORROW'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRYThe WEEKEND looks fairly settled locally with a good deal of dry weather & fairly bright skies. Winds, however, remain between N & E & it will still be cool, with ground frost likely.
