THE TITANIC DISASTER APRIL 14th 1912

As a commemoration of the above disaster, the Fred Olsen cruise ship "Balmoral"is following the route taken by TITANIC 100years ago at this time. By Sunday, she will have reached the precise spot where TITANIC sank, with the loss of 1500 lives.

By accessing a link on this site to Carnoustie weather & then selecting AIS SHIP MOVEMENTS----you will be able to follow "Balmoral" to the site of TITANIC's final resting place. The map will begin off the Scottish East Coast, but controls of a compass point direction-finder, as well as a "home in or pull out " facility, should help you locate "Balmoral".

At present, she is steaming NW en route for the Irish port of COBH (near Cork ). Seemingly this cruise was sold out 2 years ago.
