YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRYClear skies early on, were replaced by a persistent sheet of stratocumulus cloud by around 10am. It remained dry, however, though the air was still cool. Winds remained very light throughout.
LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK MONDAY 21st to THURSDAY 24th
Pressure will remain relatively high, with some building during Wed. & Thurs. Winds will be light SE throughout. Daytime temperatures should rise gradually from around 13 on Monday to near 18 to 20 by Wed. & Thurs. Frosts are not expected, as minimum temperatures rise towards double figures by mid-week. The weather should remain dry throughout this period & probably beyond. There should be broken cloud & spells of sunshine, though our relative proximity to the North Sea, poses a risk of some low cloud spreading inland some way, especially firrst thing in the mornings.
