YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRYFriday saw very little in the way of rain, though there wasn't much sunshine either 'till late in the day. Temperatures were still well down on normal mid-May averages.

High pressure is in charge today. A low E. of Iceland with its attendant cold front, will take over tomorrow & thereafter, there will be some days of cool, fresh NW winds.  Summer is still on hold!
