One of today's ephemeral sunny intervals, illuminates the snow on Ben Vrackie.

The last few days have seen heavy rainfall in many parts of Britain, with resultant flooding. Today has been the turn of SE Scotland, NE England & N Wales. Pitlochry has escaped much of the heavy & prolonged rainfall, resulting in a current monthly total of only 66% of the November long-term average. Moreover, it seems unlikely there will be any significant rainfall for the rest of the month.
So, not for the first time this year, it looks as though we are lined up to be one of the drier parts of Britain during the past month.
