SLIGHTLY ABOVE FREEZING AT 9am, BUT GROUND CONDITION ICY (as yesterday)TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
Some mist & murk to get rid of in the next hour or two. There is just a chance that a batch of showers to the east of us, may just clip Pitlochry during the morning, but not amounting to much in any event.
Much of the day should remain dry, but a belt of rain is expected to reach us later in the evening.
For much of the day, temperatures should stay in the 1 to 2 range, but then rise a little in tonight's rain.Winds light from the SE.
FURTHER LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY---Mainly cloudy, often at a low level, with rain on & off for much of the time, though perhaps something of an improvement later in the day. On the positive side, it should be milder than on recent days, perhaps up to 5 or 6 degrees. Winds still from the SE, light to moderate. Probably escaping a frost overnight.
THURSDAY----Again an emphasis on cloud, some of it low & misty. Occasional light rain seems probable & it is likely to be a touch colder than on Wednesday, although we should again escape an overnight frost.
