There should be an improvement on yesterday, with some dry spells & even a little sunshine. However, there will be some showers around the region & we are unlikely to escape altogether. Temperatures are likely to spend much of the day in the 4 to 5 range, with winds between SW & SE, mainly around force 2 to 4.  Towards midnight, a spell of more general rain is expected & this will set the pattern of things for Friday.
