PITLOCHRY TODAY
The odd shower is likely, more especially this morning, but all in all, it should be a better day, with some good dry spells & some sunny intervals. Winds will be W2 & max.temp. reach 7 (this probably the last day for a while at these levels). The night is expected to be dry, misty & nearer to frost levels.
LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK
THURSDAY---Dry, with broken cloud & sunny intervals. Colder at 4 degrees. Wind W2. Clear at times overnight, with a widespread ground frost & localized air frost.
FRIDAY---Rather more cloudy, with perhaps a little rain clipping the area briefly. Wind SW3, with max. temp. a rather cold 4. A cold, misty night with a touch of air frost.
FURTHER AHEAD---Less emphasis on wet weather, but more on lower temperatures including frosts.
Watching the excellent programme about the stars last night (BBC 2 8pm)---made me wonder whether the Aurora had ever been seen from Pitlochry? Let me know if & when you've seen a display in the local area.
