LOCAL AREA FORECAST---FRIDAY to MONDAY
Pressure is now high over Britain, but SE winds off the North Sea often have a tendency to keep our area with somewhat more cloud & lower temperatures than further west in such situations. It will probably stay dry until at least late on Sunday, but by Monday, the high pressure will be well away & a changeable week then lies ahead. So make the best of 3 or 4 days of dry weather, with some sunshine, light winds & maximum temperatures in a range 18 to 20. For those wanting it hotter & sunnier, try further west in Scotland.. .
Thursday will be dry & after a cloudy start, the sun should break through, though there will still be some patches of cloud around. It will become warm in the sunny spells, with a top temperature close to 20 degrees. It will be cooler further east & warmer & sunnier further west. Tonight should remain dry with a few clear spells.Winds mainly from the SE throughout..
