LOCAL AREA FORECAST---THURSDAY to SUNDAY
High pressure has now become established over Britain, but, locally, there may still be cloudy periods & daytime temperature are not expected to exceed 21 or 22 degrees at best. Nevertheless, the weather from now 'till Sunday could at least be described as "promising" by this summer's standards.  Unfortunately, it's back to more changeable conditions by the end of Monday!
