LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK---TUESDAY to FRIDAY
During the coming week, pressure will stay low to the west giving mild S or SE winds, but bringing spells of rain or showers. Any dry spells will be brief & unreliable, but when the sun does come out, it will feel warm & humid. Nights will also see mild temperatures & high humidities.There may be a longer dry spell for part of Wednesday, before wet & windy weather arrives in association with a vigorous depression.
Very disappointing again yesterday in Pitlochry, BUT--- SKYE reached 23 & STORNOWAY had 10 hrs of sunshine. MONDAY sees a little rain at first, though this dying out during the morning to give a dry, bright spell before more rain, persistent & quite heavy at times, returns later in the day.It will feel rather warm & humid with fresh SE winds. Rain will continue through the evening & for part of the night.
