WEDNESDAY 22nd JUNE

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
The largest totals from yesterday's rain (up to 48mms) were in the Edinburgh area. Most of the rain overnight fell to the east of Pitlochry.Quite pleasant outside just at present; a nice sunny interval.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Much of today is likely to be dry, though a little light & patchy rain can't be totally ruled out. Most of the time is likely to be rather cloudy, though a few breaks should occur, allowing a few sunny intervals. Highest temperatures should reach around 14 degrees, below normal for late June.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Mainly dry, though an odd cloudier spell with a little rain is possible. Any clear spells will allow temperatures to fall somewhat, down to around 6 or 7 degrees.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY should see more in the way of sunshine, but the odd shower is also likely. Temperatures up a shade on today's.
FRIDAY is expected to start with some showers, but turn dry with some sunshine later.
