MONDAY 6th JUNE ----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
It was a rather cloudy day, but the lower, thicker cloud first thing, did lift & break to give a few sunny intervals this afternoon. With light winds, temperatures didn't feel too bad, but the maximum of 14.5 is still below normal.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Mainly dry through this period, but continuing mostly cloudy, with just a few sunny intervals this evening & some breaks overnight. Minimum temperature around 7 or 8 degrees.

OUTLOOK
TUESDAY may start dry & even bright, but overall, it is likely to be somewhat unsettled, with plenty of cloud around capable of producing a number of showers, which could become heavy at times. Remaining cool at about 13 degrees.
THE REST of THE WEEK would appear to be a mix of sunshine & showers, with a depression hanging around near Scotland. Temperatures struggling in the range 14 to 16 (below normal for June ).
