Currently raining, though a very mild start. A frustrating day over much of Scotland, knowing that much of England is on a heatwave. Still, there are people who do not like really hot weather, so at least on this occasion, they will escape the heat.
PITLOCHRY TODAY
A short spell of rain will occur during the next hour or so, along with overcast skies. The afternoon should have a few breaks in the cloud, with brief spells of sunshine, but more cloudy& showery conditions seem likely, especially later in the afternoon. Despite often large amounts of cloud, it will feel warm, with highest temperatures around 19 or 20 degrees.
Those going west from Pitlochry, are likely to see more in the way of rain. The East coast should see very little.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Often cloudy, perhaps with occasional slight rain, but very mild, with lowest temperatures in double figures.
OUTLOOK
MONDAY will still be rather warm & muggy, but a good deal of cloud is likely, with mostly small amounts of rain. Again, the West will see more rain than the East.
TUESDAY should be generally brighter, fresher & cooler.
