A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.
There were some showers around the region yesterday p.m.but Pitlochry escaped, though skies did turn more generally cloudy from mid-afternoon. Still hot, however, with a sultry evening & rather too warm for some of us getting to sleep!

A dry day ahead & perhaps the last of the hot ones for the time being. There are expected to be good sunny spells, with temperatures reaching, or perhaps exceeding, 27 degrees (81 in old currency). Winds mainly from the W, light to moderate. There may be rather more cloud around by nightfall, keeping temperatures well in double figures

LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK

Becoming cooler & fresher, care of a SE-moving cold front. There is unlikely to be much- needed rain associated with this system, though cloud amounts are likely to be greater than we have been used to. Nights will be cooler & better for sleeping.
