The weather is set to go downhill over the next few days, as a ridge of high pressure is replaced by a low pressure centre. THURSDAY, though mostly dry, is likely to be more cloudy, though with temperatures still a little above normal.  FRIDAY is expected to be cloudy, with some rain on occasions & a few degrees cooler.  The WEEKEND threatens to be unsettled, with rain or showers at times & below average temperatures.
