A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!

A delightful day yesterday----after about 1600hrs!! (too late to reach normal temperature values). Parts of Western & Northern Scotland reached 23 degrees.

Generally rather cloudy, probably nothing better than a few sunny intervals. It's now mainly frontal cloud from a system to the west that is depriving us of sunshine & by evening, it is likely to be bringing some rain too, though in general, only light & patchy & not really enough for parched gardens.Winds fresh from ESE & best temperatures only around 16.  TONIGHT---rain becoming heavier & more persistent & of more value to gardeners & growers.
