There should be a trend towards the snow becoming lighter later in the day & overnight.Remaining cold, so not much thawing, maximum temperature around 1 to 2. A touch of frost overnight, when there should be some dry spells & perhaps some cloud breaks. Still a few snow flurries.

LOCAL AREA OUTLOOKA general trend to drier weather, though perhaps the odd snow flurry at times. Winds should also become lighter. A greater likelihood of sharper frosts overnight, as a result of lighter winds, clear periods & deep snow cover. Days remaining cold, with temperatures near freezing & not much thawing taking place.
