A WARM WELCOME TO PITLOCHRY WEATHER!
THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY, USING PREVIOUS MET OFFICE CLIMATE STATION EXPERIENCE. FORECASTING IS BASED ON MET OFFICE & BBC MATERIAL, WHICH IS THEN TAILORED FOR THE PITLOCHRY AREA, USING LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE.
TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY----It will a very cold & mainly  cloudy day, with a fresh SE wind.  There will be some dry, brighter intervals, but also some mainly light snow on occasions, especially during the afternoon & evening. There are likely to be an additional 3 to 5 cms lying here by Sat. morning, but more on the hills to the E. & NE where drifting is likely. Occasional snow is also expected overnight, sometimes moderate in intensity.
Temperatures will spend much of the time between 0 & +1.

LOCAL AREA OUTLOOK

WEEKEND   Remaining mostly cloudy & very cold with a biting E.wind.  Once again, there are likely to be further outbreaks of snow, mostly light, though occasionally moderate.There should also be some dry spells. Areas to the E. & NE of Pitlochry are likely to have the largest accumulations of snow & some drifting.   So by Monday morning---still very cold, with a few cms of snow still lying in & around Pitlochry
