Feeling rather cold, this accentuated by a force 4 or 5 W to NW wind. There have already been snow showers over the Grampians. Essentially, it's a day of sunshine & showers. Most of the showers will fall to the west of Pitlochry, but a few may well affect us, being of a wintry mix, though snow mainly above 200ms. It could well stay dry all day near to the East Coast  Highest temperatures are expected to peak at about 7 degrees.  TONIGHT will see clear skies & only isolated showers, which could be of snow, though with little accumulation. Minimum temperatures will fall close to freezing.

YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRYBright for a time in the morning, but thereafter, mainly cloudy, with a few spits of rain. There was further occasional mainly light rain during the evening & overnight, but not amounting to much. It turned mild for a time during the night, with the maximum 24Hr temperature being recorded.
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
Pressure is high over the Atlantic to the west of the Iberian Peninsula.Pressure is very low over Iceland. A brisk W to NW airflow covers Britain, with some snow showers over Scottish hills & mountains.
TOMORROW'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRYGenerally more cloud & milder than today. The west will get the lion's share of the rain, with the east coast getting the least. Pitlochry's share seems more likely late in the day. Winds fresh (4 to 5) from the SW.
