YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRYRather cloudy in the morning, but increasing amounts of sunshine during the afternoon & continuing mild.  It's a long time now since we had a real good soaking---I don't think I've ever watered a garden  in March before--- in any location in England or Scotland!!
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
An anticyclone is just hanging on over Britain, but is set to retreat into the Continent. Scotland continues to be affected by a light to moderate SW airflow.
