There will be variable amounts of cloud, but often bright with prospects of some sunny intervals, especially this afternoon. Winds will be W to SW force 3 or 4, perhaps stronger gusts in exposed places, but maximum temperatures should reach around 12 or 13 degrees.   TONIGHT will become rather cloudy, perhaps with a few patches of light rain, but mild.

YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRYThe morning was cloudy & dry, but during the afternoon, there were odd patches of showery rain, with just the occasional brighter spells. There was further occasional rain, not amounting to much, both during the evening & overnight.
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
Pressure is high over N.W. France & this system is likely to dominate the weather pattern over Britain for the rest of the week, though its centre will gradually transfer NE-wards, probably changing wind directions more to a SE flow.
