YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRY
Some mist & fog early on, which dispersed into thin low cloud. However, the sun shone through & it was another pleasant day, if cold.
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
Pressure is high over the North Sea & low over the Mediterranean. A warm front is set to make progress acrross Scotland.
TOMORROW'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY --- RISK OF ICY SURFACES EARLY ON
A somewhat different day than of late. Misty low cloud & occasional mainly light rain or drizzle is expected as a warm front struggles into the colder air of a blocking high pressure system. Winds should be light & rather variable, with highest temperatures up to around 3 or 4 degrees.
