YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRY
A mainly cloudy day, with sunshine at a premium. However, it was February's mildest day to date & Leuchars, at 11 degrees, was the mildest spot in Britain!
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
A large high sits to the SW of Britain. Pressure is low over Poland, giving a fresh NW airstream over Britain. By the weekend, the high will have moved south to be west of Spain, leaving us in a rather more changeable & colder set up.
