YESTERDAY IN PITLOCHRY
Stubborn stratocumulus cloud from off the North Sea, persisted during daylight hours, but after dark, clearing skies have resulted in a sharp frost.
THE GENERAL WEATHER PATTERN AROUND THE BRITISH ISLES
Northern Europe is still covered by a huge high pressure system, giving intense cold. Pressure is low over Italy & the Atlantic & the milder air is poised to attempt to extend its influence across Britain over the next few days.
TOMORROW'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
Sharp frost early & perhaps some valley mist patches. The day should be dry with good spells of sunshine, though temperatures will struggle to get above zero.
