TODAY'S FORECAST FOR PITLOCHRY
Any early brightness is fast retreating to the NW, as cloud increases from the SE, bringing periods of rain, sleet or even wet snow to the area. At town heights, accumulations of any snow seem unlikely, with rain or sleet more probable, but rise 200 or 300ms & the scene is likely to become more wintry. It will feel cold, with a frosty start & temperatures peaking at around 3 or 4 degrees. Winds will eventually settle into the NE, though no more than moderate in strength. The evening should become somewhat drier & the night will bring some clear spells, though perhaps the odd wintry shower + a slight frost.
