THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY
A large high pressure system has been building just to the west of the British Isles & has been responsible for the recent dry, cold days, with fresh winds at times. Cloud amounts have been variable, but any clear nights have given sharp frosts. Lying snow, especially in higher parts has been reluctant to clear. The high pressure system is unlikely to move very much for several days, so dry conditions are likely to predominate. Changes in temperature will be rather subtle, but it may become a little less cold, with winds somewhat lighter.
