THE ONLY ONLINE WEATHER SERVICE WHERE THE OBSERVER LIVES & RECORDS IN PITLOCHRY
Say what you like about the first half of February, but the fact that stands out above all else has been its dryness. Only 0.2mm has been recorded & further more, the amount of rain promised for this weekend & for much of next week is very little. Remember, the February record low rainfall total stands at 13mm; are we likely to beat that? Well with 2 weeks to go, that would be foolish to speculate, but looking at the charts, it may be possible, ( even if it took a European high giving very cold easterly winds to achieve it--- & I'm not sure this would prove popular with the majority!)
